Concept
The Loppa design is inspired by the idea of an
envelope. The flaps create a solid 3D structure like an exoskeleton, meaning
any other materials can be dispensed with. The lampshade surrounds the bulb like an envelope
encloses a letter. Paper reflects the light, but also allows it to shine
through slightly, the combination creating a pleasant room atmosphere. Illumination
is provided by an energy-saving or LED bulb.
